Trying something new

It has been a long time since I wrote on this blog, and I apologize. The last few years have been full of injuries, surgeries, chronic pain and fatigue, as well as lots of time recovering and sleeping. Recently, I've decided to begin sharing my stories with everyone. It doesn't seem fair for me to keep them all to myself. My plan is to share the first chapter of Requiem of a Caged Bird on Facebook, and then to have a few more available here. This is just a trial run, and if it is somewhat successful I will post more chapters.
